Putting your mind at ease.
With answers that make sense.
We match you with a support worker who fits your personality, routine, and preferences. Care that’s personalised, thoughtful, and truly centred around you makes all the difference.
Here’s some other information you might find helpful.

Where do you provide services?
We’re proud to support clients across Perth and beyond—from Yanchep to Busselton. If you’re unsure whether we cover your area, get in touch and we’ll let you know.
How do I arrange care for myself or a loved one?
Simply contact us to schedule a no-pressure initial chat. We’ll discuss your needs, preferences, and daily routines, then match you with a carer who suits your lifestyle.
Do I need an assessment before starting care?
Yes, we take the time to understand your needs fully. This involves an in-home consultation and/or discussion with your family and healthcare providers to create a personalised care plan.
Can I change my support worker if it’s not a good fit?
Absolutely. In fact, we encourage you to do this if you feel like the fit is not right. Matching is at the heart of what we do. If the connection isn’t right, we’ll work with you to find someone who fits better.
Can I make requests for the type of person I want caring for me?
Yes! We’ll specially ask you if you gave any preferences, like alignment with hobbies you enjoy. Or, you might prefer someone who speaks in your native language.
What services does Select HomeCare offer?
We provide a wide range of in-home support. Our services include domestic assistance, personal care, social support, clinical services and general nursing, allied health support, respite care, as well as gardening and home maintenance.
Can services be tailored over time?
Yes! Our care plans are flexible and evolve with your needs, ensuring you get the right support when you need it.
How involved will my family be in my care?
We believe in clear communication. Families are kept informed about care schedules, routines, and any updates, giving you peace of mind without extra stress.
What if my loved one speaks, or prefers to speak, a language other than English?
We do our best to match clients with carers who speak their preferred language wherever possible, creating comfort, trust, and a sense of connection. So far, we have been able to match people in this area 100% of the time.
How much does in-home care cost?
Costs vary depending on the type and level of support required. We’ll provide a clear, personalised quote before care begins.
Do you accept government funding?
Yes. We work with clients using government-funded packages, such as the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP). We can guide you through the process.
How do I apply for government-funded care?
To start, you’ll need an ACAT (Aged Care Assessment Team) assessment. This assessment helps determine your eligibility and the level of support you need. Once approved, you can choose Select HomeCare to deliver your services.
Are your carers qualified?
Of course! All our carers are trained, vetted, and committed to providing compassionate, professional support.
How do you ensure safety in the home?
We follow strict safety protocols, maintain open communication, and adapt your environment as needed. This might include installing rails, ramps, or assisting with mobility.
What happens if there’s an emergency?
All our carers are trained in emergency procedures, and we maintain clear communication channels so help can be provided immediately if needed.
Still have questions?
Let’s talk. Care that connects starts with a conversation.

Questions you might have.
Q:
What if I don’t know what to talk about?
That’s completely okay. We can start wherever you are, even with the silence or confusion. Sometimes the quiet itself shows us where the work begins.
Q:
How long does therapy take?
There’s no fixed timeline. Some people come for a few months, others for a longer journey. We’ll find a rhythm that fits your needs and goals.
Q:
What if I’m nervous to start therapy?
Most people are. It’s normal to feel unsure. Opening up takes courage. You don’t have to have it all figured out; you just have to show up, and we’ll go from there.
Q:
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. I offer secure video sessions for clients across Cross Nest, Sydney. Some find online therapy even more comfortable, as it allows you to show up from your own safe space.
